I’m 50 today!!!

Enough cake to feed an army – but its a big building that I work in!

I’m 50 years old today…

When I went to the bakery yesterday to pick up the cakes that I had ordered – I realised that I subconsciously chose all my favourites!  Red Velvet cake, chocolate éclairs, caramel buns and baked cheesecake… BAD BAD LYNDA!

Well – I wanted to see if I could weather some REAL challenges on my road to a thinner me… so this day will be a true battle of wills between the suicidal fatty living in my brain and the Skinny Bitch waiting to get out.

Tonight we are eating out and I purposely chose a Sushi Restaurant so that I can monitor my portions and work out exactly what I stuff down my gullet.   Now don’t get me wrong – I’m not getting obsessive compulsive with this whole Healthy Plan – but I am SERIOUS enough to be careful and cautious.

So let me go and face this day and put myself in a situation filled with cakes, chocolates and treats that is bound to come my way from all my co-workers.
